Deputy Agent General, Government of South Australia
Matt completed a Bachelor of Economics at Flinders University, South Australia, before joining the civil service in 2000 where he worked in various analytical and policy roles. In 2002 he was appointed Executive Officer to the State's Economic Development Board, which prepared A Framework for Economic Development in South Australia and presided over a number of key investment projects in the State.
In 2005, Matt joined the Premier's office before moving into a leadership role in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. From there he went into the private sector as Senior Associate with a leading strategic advisory firm before returning to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet where he became Executive Director of the Social Inclusion Unit.
Matt commenced as Deputy Agent General for South Australia in June 2010.
