Message from the Vice-Chancellor

One of my aims, as the Vice-Chancellor, is to enhance Flinders University's support of the ‘new South Australia' with its strong defence and resource sector.

Flinders University is an integral part of Australia's respected higher education system and makes strong economic and social contributions to both the State and the nation.

Higher education is an important driver of competitive advantage in the knowledge economy. Through the fostering of public debate leading to policy change it makes a tangible contribution to the fabric of society.

Tax deductible donations to the Fund for the Future annual appeal give the University opportunities to increase the level and quality of teaching and research and to retain its competitive edge and strong reputation as a world class institution.
