Membership benefits

The Flinders University Alumni Association has over 53,000 members, and the number is growing rapidly as graduates, staff and students become aware of the value of maintaining links with their alma mater.

Membership is automatic upon graduation.

Many members also are involved with one of the individual local chapters established by specific schools or disciplines, or one of the international chapters established by graduates in their home countries.

Membership of the Alumni Association is free, and lasts for life.

Membership benefits

Members of the Alumni Association receive:

• the annual members' magazine, Encounter
• E News (e.NCOUNTER)
• Library access
• STA Travel provides alumni the same discounts as students on international travel
• UniBooks provides a 10% discount for cash and 6% discount for credit card purchases
• Function Centre provides a 25% discount for networking/conference/seminar bookings
• 10% discount on full-priced merchandise memorabilia items.

Alumni e-Library

For $90 per annum, Alumni can have access to:

• 5000 full text electronic journals
• indexes to an additional 5000 journals

in a wide range of subject areas.

The collection has a particularly strong coverage of the Health Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.

In addition, for $20, subject to the Library's borrowing rules, subscribers are entitled to borrow up to 20 books at any one time.
