What can I study?

The Bachelor of Arts at Flinders is the most flexible of degrees, allowing you to specialise in one, two or even three areas of study chosen from a list of more than 36 options. Many of the most popular areas taught at Flinders can only be taken within the BA, and most allow you to proceed to honours level.

Before making the final decision about your study program and topics, be sure you understand the BA structure and course requirements. You may also want to talk with the Director of Studies in charge of an area that interests you.

Other options

You should also know that it is possible to study the BA as a combined degree with another course, including Law, or to include in your BA program topics taught by other universities or colleges through cross-institutional enrolment.

In some cases students may be granted credit for previous study at tertiary level.

Students who sucessfully complete the first year of the BA are guaranteed a place should they wish to transfer to one of the following bachelor degrees:
