Building Alterations and Furniture

Requests for self-funded building work, alterations or new or refurbished furniture should be made by completing a Request for Building Works, Alterations or New Furniture form, and forwarded to the Manager, Planning and Projects.

For a cost estimate or advice related to significant renovations or modifications, contact the Planning and Project Section.

For minor office renovations such as new shelving or power points, contact the Maintenance Section. Requests should be forwarded on a signed general ledger journal quoting an account number.

If you need furniture moved, contact the relevant caretakers.

Minor Works

In accordance with Capital Infrastructure Plan provisions, bids for Minor Works (under $250,000) are formally invited each year through the major cost centres. Submissions must include details of the broad scope of work and indicative costings. Submissions are prioritised by major cost centres and returned to Buildings and Property Division for submission to the Infrastructure Committee Review panel.
