Buildings and Property Division has established an environment
management sub-committee with the following general objectives:

Establish and report on key performance indicators in the following areas |

Investigate and review potential enhancements for improved KPI outcomes
Promote interest in and encourage a contribution from students and staff
directed toward achieving a sustainable campus environment
Investigate and, where appropriate, incorporate sustainable development principles
in building and construction works for refurbishment of existing
and new buildings.

A comprehensive Land Management Plan (LMP) has been developed addressing such issues as fire-prevention, pest-plant control, erosion, native vegetation & significant tree protection, etc. The LMP is available as a PDF document (12mb).
Buildings and Property Division also runs the University’s Green
Transport Office.
