Dr Mamoru Mohri AM (PhD '76 DUniv '91) is Director of Japan's National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, or Miraikan in Tokyo.
When he came to Australia, he was challenged by a new environment, and a new life with new people from a variety of cultures. He learned at Flinders that he could not just survive, but thrive, and developed into a more complete person.
He became a Professor at Hokkaido University in Japan, and later was Japan's first astronaut.
