The Graduate Certificate in Education (Studies of Asia) is an 18 unit program which requires one semester of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). It is offered by the Faculty of Education, Humanities, Law and Theology on a fee-paying basis.
The course is designed to meet the needs of practising teachers and curriculum support personnel.
Graduates may be eligible for credit towards topics in a coursework masters degree in Education or Asian studies.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have completed an approved degree or equivalent qualification and be currently employed as a teacher or as a curriculum support person.
Students who have completed the accreditation requirements of the Asia Education Foundations Including Studies of Asia in Curriculum Professional Development Program may be eligible for 9 units of credit towards this award.
A students program of study must be approved by the Program Approver.
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Education (Studies of Asia), a student must complete 18 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, according to the following program of study.
Not all topics necessarily are available in a given year.
