To be read in conjunction with the Program of Study [November, 2007] requirements for the Graduate Diploma in Social Sciences.

36 units comprising:

any of the geography honours topics except GEOG7000 Thesis and Literature Review
and/or an honours or graduate diploma topic from another department/school or faculty approved by the Head, as cognate to the advanced study of geography and not exceeding 6 units
and/or GEOG8000 Geography Graduate Diploma Thesis (12 units)

and/or up to a maximum of 12 units from the following:

GEOG2010	Computing Methods in Geography	6
GEOG3007	Cities, Geography and Policy	6
GEOG3008	Regional Development	6
GEOG3009	Research Methods in Geography	6
GEOG3013	Geographical Information Systems	6
GEOG3014	Remote Sensing	3
GEOG3015	Digital Image Analysis	3
GEOG3017	Advanced GIS	6

a topic from another department/school or faculty approved by the Head,
as cognate to the advanced study of geography and not exceeding 6 units,
unless 6 units have already been selected in this category.
