Due to exceptional growth and increasing client demand, there is an opportunity for a graduate researcher (up to 1 year’s experience) in our Adelaide office. Colmar Brunton Research is a leading supplier of strategic research to corporations, government and not-for-profit organisations across Australia. You would be a member of a research team with dedicated researchers in Adelaide, New South Wales, ACT, Brisbane and Victoria.
This Graduate role will work across our National Social business unit and will have the opportunity to work on some of our biggest accounts, including SA Health, Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), the University of NSW Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC), the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and many more. This role will be responsible for assisting with general project work, preparation of information and materials, basic data analysis and preparation of tables and graphs.
This role is critical in assisting team members in delivering outstanding research design, output and market insight to our clients. As this is an entry level position, extensive on-the-job training/mentoring will be provided in order to succeed in this busy role.
Candidates should come from an academic background in marketing, business, statistics, psychology, sociology and/or other social sciences. Candidates should also possess a keen eye for details, be a good team worker and display a positive, energetic and committed attitude.
Youth Workers, Uniting Communities
Uniting Communities is looking for more than one position for permanent part-time and casual Youth Workers,(including a Sleepover Worker).Youth Services provides a range of early intervention therapeutic services for young people and their families who are experiencing conflict and the young person is at imminent risk of homelessness. This position/s involves working in the Rubys Reunification Program where youth workers will work rostered shifts. Responsibilities include case management activities and the associated tasks related to the day-to-day operation of a therapeutic residential service. One of these positions is a sleepover worker who will work a combination of sleepover hours and active hours. The successful applicants will have relevant tertiary qualifications, knowledge of issues and appropriate experience in working with young people and their families. Essential qualities include sound communication skills, a commitment to service quality, a demonstrated ability to inspire staff and work collaboratively with a range of government and community based services.
