Thales Australia, Graduate Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Propose, build, deliver and support ICT products to the customer

Key Skills and Experience:

• Professional Engineering qualification with a significant ICT component (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Systems etc.)
• A credit average in your degree
• Experience in IP networking and software systems integration, development and scripting will be desirable.

Department of Human Services, ICT Graduate

ICT Graduates in the Department of Human Services (DHS) National Graduate Program may work in a number of ICT areas, including: Applications Development (online systems, middleware, midrange, mainframe), Core Infrastructure (IT security, applications infrastructure, storage, mainframe, midrange, data centres, communications) and Information Management (business intelligence systems, enterprise data warehouse, analytical tools).

In day-to-day business, DHS utilises a mix of in-house developed systems, off the shelf products, customised off the shelf products and open source products. Typical roles in the ICT Graduate stream include: Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Analyst Programmer.

As an ICT Graduate you will also complete further training, including a nationally accredited Diploma of Government, take part in a three-day interstate outbound, and participate in a number of job rotations.
