SA Health, Clinical Analyst Support Officer
The Clinical Analyst Support is accountable to the Manager Clinical Analyst, Content for assisting the Clinical Analysts with the planning, design, build, configuration, maintenance and ongoing operational support of the EPAS modules which provide the foundation for the SA Health EPAS Solution. The Incumbent is required to work under limited direction within the EPAS Operations Team to provide support to Clinical Analysts and end users of the EPAS Solution, throughout the EPAS.

About the role:
Design, develop and maintain our suite of software applications servicing the rapidly growing Aged Care industry. Work with a standard Microsoft .NET stack to deliver robust, reliable and technically sophisticated applications across desktop and web. You will be involved throughout the entire design process - analysing customer requirements, developing documentation, resolving defects and optimising existing code. Projects are often driven by only a couple of developers, offering a prime opportunity for you to stand out and experiment. Working with a team of other passionate software developers, you will receive mentoring and support necessary to apply your own skills as best as possible.

Hunter Medical Research Institute, Health Informatician
The provision of evidence based integrated health-care is enhanced by the linkage of information and data through information technology. The strategic linkage of this data requires expertise in systems thinking, informatics, "big data" and computer science.
Primarily partnered with the HMRI Health Services Research Fellow to provide health informatics and systems input into the design and execution of clinical research projects, the successful application will participate and contribute their skills to execution of clinical research projects. This will require broad technical skills in bringing together disparate health databases, an ability to keep the "big picture" in view, and good interpersonal skills in bringing various stakeholders together.
In addition, the successful applicant will be required to establish and facilitate academic and industry collaborations in health informatics as well as representing HMRI in NSW and Federal health informatics forums.
HMRI is seeking applicants with post-graduate qualifications in computer science, statistics, mathematics or engineering with a background in applied health informatics. In addition, the applicant should have local knowledge of the health system in Australia and established links to key players in this field.
