  • The City of Onkaparinga Project

During two intensive weeks in February, a team of seven committed Flinders students competed in this National Higher Education Competition.   Naming the Team ComFUSA (from 'Community' and 'Flinders University'), the team represented Flinders in the Summer 2005 HEWSO Competition.

Working with The City of Onkaparinga, The Team was required to investigate and report on:

"Developing a model that defines service levels, identifies data collection processes and measures Community Development outcomes"

The focus of the task was to develop a model, consistent across all service lines in the Community Development Section, to measure social capital and community development services outcomes.

The Team produced a professional business presentation and report, which they presented to a panel of Council judges and representatives.
