    What you need to succeed

"The financial services sector is highly competitive, but it offers excellent career prospects for those with the aptitude and drive to excel. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing requirements are essential, and the ability to work under pressure is always useful. Excellent numeracy skills are required in all financial services roles. Knowledge of the general requirements of commerce and business are also critical. Communication and teamwork skills are requirements, as you will rarely be working alone, and a customer service orientation is essential. Administrative and record-keeping skills are involved in most roles. A high standard of computer and information technology skills are also required, as extensive computer use is standard practice in the field."
