    The Geriatric Research Unit (GRU) & Clinical Gait Analysis Service (CGAS) is seeking an enthusiastic Human Movement / Biomedical Engineer graduate (or equivalent) full-time for a fixed term contract of 3 years. The successful applicant will perform measurements and undertake analyses of human movement, assist in performing regular equipment maintenance and maintain research/clinical records. Preference will be given to applicants with research/clinical expertise in gait and motion analysis.

    This include the design or production of:

    • A wide range of sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment in hospitals
    • Devices to assist in home-based health care and rehabilitation, including prosthetic and orthotic devices

    Working under the direction of the Unit Manager the successful applicant will be required to undertake a range of activities which include, monitoring and reviewing the quality, safety and performance of medical devices; investigating reports of adverse events involving the use of medical devices; drafting reports, standard operating procedures and articles for TGA newsletters and website; and general administrative duties.

    Eligibility
