    Some Specialist Pathways

Below are some examples of specialised pathways for Business students according to the major streams of study. This list is not exhaustive. Note that some positions may require further study and/or experience. Further information on these pathways is available on the links provided.

You will have the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and skills across a range of professional business-orientated fields:

Marketing: Studies in Marketing can lead to positions in advertising, market research, public relations and sales, and can be the basis for fulfilling careers in specialist marketing management roles and in general management.

Human Resource Management: Human Resource Management (HRM) focuses on managing people within organisations to ensure their activities are productive, to achieve the aims and strategic objectives of the organisation and to integrate the needs of both employee and employer.

International Business: Students will gain skills and knowledge that will equip them to pursue careers in an international business setting, including disciplines such as marketing, human resource management and business strategy.

Entrepreneurship: Studies in entrepreneurship focus on developing the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful entrepreneur.
