  • Bachelor of Creative Arts

Link here for entry and admission requirements

This is a unique course for students who want to fill key creative roles in the theatre, film, television or digital media industries, as writers, researchers, editors, actors, directors or producers.

BA (Screen Studies, Sociology, and Drama Major) gained employment as a Freelance Production Assistant on TV Commercials.

I work on small to large TV Commercial productions. The work varies from making tea and coffee to time coding and writing down shot lists and working a video split. It is important to network and ask people who are working in the industry how they got started. Focus on a specific area in the industry and be prepared to start down the bottom, i.e., camera assistant. One of the best things you can do is to try to get work experience on a film, TV commercial or in television.
