Entrepreneurship - Entrepreneurs are extraordinary people who bring about extraordinary events (Schumpeter). Entrepreneurs are not only prime movers in the realisation of economic progress but, at the individual level, there are few careers that offer as much potential for personal development or wealth creation. Studies in entrepreneurship focus on developing the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful entrepreneur. Entrepreneurial studies, however, are relevant not only to students who would like to go on and establish their own innovative business venture; they are equally relevant to students who aspire to build a career in senior management in major corporations. This is as entrepreneurial activities are an essential ingredient for business success, whether the business is large or small.
