Where can our graduates go?
Graduate employment statistics show that a law degree is one of the best passports to employment in a wide range of occupations because the skills acquired are highly valued. Not all lawyers become barristers or solicitors. Many are employed by large firms or by government or private-sector organisations to assist with the complexities of modern business. Others move into areas such as policy development, administration or law reform.
| Katherine Lorenz was awarded a LLB (Hons) and gained a position as an

| Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Officer, Cabinet Office, ACT Chief Minister's Department
The first 10 months involves completing three rotations with different agencies within the ACT public service; providing an overview of different departments. The final rotation is with my host agency, the Cabinet Office. … I think employers respond to candidates who have relevant work experience, whether it be voluntary or paid.
