Due to recent growth and major capital infrastructure projects they are looking for mechatronics engineer to join their team.
This newly created position will be responsible for both mechanical and electronic improvement initiatives within the new manufacturing facility. This will specifically involve project management; day to day repair of capital equipment; troubleshooting PLC, Robotic and Pneumatic driven machinery and problem solving issues. To be considered for the above position you must hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mechatronics), coupled with highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. |

So if you have previous Robot / Machine commissioning experience, have a detailed knowledge of safety circuits, safety systems and electrical schematics, understand pneumatic and hydraulic systems/components and have operational experience with Robotic Welding Cells then we need to hear from you. |

With continued healthy growth forecast, they are seeking a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join their operation at their inner city Brisbane plant.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your primary duties will be 1. Gain a broad understanding of the glass manufacturing process and assist unit managers in achieving plant objectives and 2. Gain specific knowledge in Forming Process, Batch and Furnace operation, Inspection, Packaging and Line Management.
Some of your accountabilities will include:
Complete each phase of the graduate placement program.
Contribute to plant improvement activities and Lean Six Sigma projects
Develop competency in the fundamentals of Glass testing and analysis, Batch house operations and Furnace operations and maintenance.
Contribute to Plant Communication processes by attending and leading Team Briefs,
Toolbox Talks and other communication forums.
To be considered for this exciting position you will be a degree-qualified engineer, ideally in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, process or materials discipline. You will be recently graduated or have one to two years experience in manufacturing. This role is very hands on with heavy involvement on the production floor so a previous trade background will be highly regarded but certainly not necessary. |

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing assistance to the group's Engineers in the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of hoisting machineries used in the theatre industry. You will be given opportunity to apply your theoretical trainings in the designs of both machinery and control systems, oversee site installation and commissioning during the construction stage.
Occasional site travels may be required.
Applicants should have, or under training for, either a degree or diploma in mechatronic / control engineering.
