Experience@Singapore is an exclusive programme that includes visits to companies, economic agencies and key infrastructural projects. It provides students with insights to Singapore as an Engineering & Technology hub.
The programme covers 5 themes, over 5 days, where students get to be oriented in Singapore, as well as to meet with industry leaders and visit some of our industrial parks from the following industries.
• Energy - Asia's Leading Energy Hub: Playing a critical role in meeting the world's energy demands
• Electronics/Semiconductor - World Class Node for Electronics: Pushing the frontiers of electronics
• Biomedical Science - Biopolis of Asia: Where talent fuels science and business
• Environment & Water - Global Hydrohub: Creating solutions to address the world's environment & water challenges
This will be an excellent opportunity for you to meet with the employers in Singapore. At the same time, we are also inviting students from some of the top universities in the UK and USA to participate as well. So you will not only get to meet with potential employers, but also your counterparts in UK / USA universities.

ACS FOUNDATION
Careers in IT competition
As an initiative of the 2009 ICT Careers week www.ictcareersweek.info being held between 27th July and the 1st August 2009, the ACS Foundation is holding a competition for young people to post a short video (less than two minutes) around one or more of the six themes of the week this year, basically on the topic of "What does ICT mean to you?"
Each category winner will receive one of seven i-Pod Touches, based on the number of "views" their video gets.

You are invited to come and join the principals and staff of Catholic country schools at an informative session on Friday 28th August, 2009 from 4.30pm-6pm.

The session will provide an opportunity to also meet key staff of the Catholic Education Office including the Beginning Teachers Consultant, and the Coordinator of Personnel. You will also hear about teachers experiences from country schools and have an opportunity to ask them questions.
