Between 2005 and 2009, Flinders University gave out a number of grants for projects to promote cultural inclusivity and encourage discussion on cultural diversity. These consisted of Diversity Initiative Grants (DIGs) and CDIP Provocateurs.

These projects were very successful, resulting in

  • greater awareness of cultural inclusivity issues
  • more discussion on how to make the university a more inclusive environment
  • the development of further folios to be included in the CDIP Toolkit
  • a number of international conference papers and journal articles
