Program Awards recognise learning and teaching support programs and services that make an innovative and outstanding contribution to student learning outcomes and the quality of the student experience. Up to 6 Program Awards are awarded to programs and services that have set high standards for ongoing quality in learning and teaching activities in Australian higher education institutions. Consider your teaching in the bigger picture. Lift your vision up and out from your own reflection. Talk to your colleagues about what you do and why, and start collecting evidence.

Good nominations show:

– Passion and engagement.

– Innovation, particularly in overcoming challenges related to teaching.

– Sustained impact with evidence for claims.

– Effort beyond what is expected: from good to great!

Your evidence needs to be connected to your claims. Evidence can be quantitative and qualitative. It can include quotes, survey results, records of change, and uptake of ideas by peers.

Please note that in 2018 no prize money is offered with the receipt of a Program Award, and that there is a reduction in the number of awards offered. Details about these changes can be found here.
