Teaching Awards celebrate a group of the nation’s most outstanding university teachers in their fields. The Awards give recognition to teachers (individuals and teams) renowned for the excellence of their teaching, who have outstanding presentation skills and who have made a broad and deep contribution to enhancing the quality of learning and teaching in higher education.
Teaching Awards are often a logical “next step” from local teaching awards.
Consider your teaching in the bigger picture. Lift your vision up and out from your own reflection. Talk to your colleagues about what you do and why, and start collecting evidence.
Good nominations show:
Evidence can be quantitative and qualitative. It can include quotes, survey results, records of change, and uptake of ideas by peers. Other useful sources of evidence are listed here.

|Feedback 1||The Project Officer, Learning and Teaching will discuss the feedback with the nominee.||May 2017|
|Second Draft||Nominees to submit a draft written statement as a Word document to the Project Officer, Learning and Teaching.||5 June 2017|
|Feedback 2||The Project Officer, Learning and Teaching will discuss the feedback with the nominee.||June 2017|
|Final and Complete Application Due||Nominees to submit complete application to the Project Officer, Learning and Teaching.||3 July 2017|
|External Due Date||The Project Officer, Learning and Teaching will compile the nomination into one PDF document for each applicant and submit on their behalf.||12 July 2017|
