For urgent help with SPSS problems our consultant can be contacted directly by telephone or email, but for not-so-urgent queries an spss help line has been set up as an email list.

This is intended as a forum for Flinders SPSS users to share ideas, problems and experience with each other and for the consultant to provide statistical input and assistance.

A world-wide SPSS discussion list, SPSSX-L, has over 1000 subscribed users and generates around 15 posts a day. Topics covered include installation problems, bugs, help with statistical procedures and data manipulation, syntax and macros and is a useful resource for new and experienced users alike.

To subscribe to the list send an email to the address LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU

In the body of the email enter the following one line, replacing < full_name > with your first and last names:

SUBSCRIBE SPSSX-L < full_name >

Remove the signature from your email before sending.
