| Nvivo and Nud*ist | QSR provides software for qualitative research and analysis. The products are NVivo version 8, N6 (the latest in the NUD*IST line) and N4 Classic. More detailed information is available from the QSR web site. | Licence Details |
| Sophos Antivirus | Sophos Antivirus is an application to protect computers from Internet worms and viruses and is available for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems. More detailed information is available from the Sophos web site. | Licence Details |

| Adobe Products | Adobe software includes former Macromedia applications, such as Dreamweaver MX, Flash and Fireworks. More detailed information is available here . | Licence Details |
| Microsoft Products | There is a considerable range of Microsoft software available, and currently includes Microsoft Applications Pool and the Microsoft Server Pool. | SPSS | SPSS is a computer application which provides statistical analysis of data. It allows for in-depth data access and preparation, analytical reporting, segmentation and predictive modeling. | Sophos MailMonitor | Sophos MailMonitor is a software application that monitors the incoming mail feeds to the University and actively scans for viruses, worms, trojans, etc. Infected email is blocked from entry to the campus. | Licence Details |
| StarOffice | StarOffice software is an alternative office productivity suite that runs on multiple operating systems, including Solaris[tm] Operating Environment, Microsoft Windows, and Linux. The office suite has a simple, easy-to-use interface and contains full-featured applications including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, graphics and database capabilities.
