This articulated program provides a strong foundation in appropriate business knowledge, understanding, skills and attitude for successful careers as managers of organisations including private sector business organisations, not-for-profit organisations and public organisations.

The Health specialisation will tailor your business studies to leadership roles in the health and aged care sectors. Possession of such specialised skills and knowledge is crucial to effective executive performance and your credibility as a leader in this highly professionalised and complex service-oriented industry.

The Health specialisation is offered by the Department of Health Management in the Flinders School of Medicine.

Entry requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration

Applicants must hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.

Entry requirements for the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration

Applicants must hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants who have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration may also gain entry into the course.

Entry requirements for the Master of Business Administration

Applicants for the MBA (Health) must normally hold a bachelor degree in a health-related field from an approved tertiary institution plus at least four years’ professional experience working in the health or aged care industries.
