This articulated, multi-disciplinary program is designed to provide health professionals with advanced knowledge and skills to deliver clinical education in health service settings. This is an emergent specialty field of education characterised by a symbiotic relationship between the learner, an experienced clinical educator and the health service. This course is suitable for educators in both clinical and academic settings.

The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education consists of the core topics Symbiotic Clinical Education 1 and Symbiotic Clinical Education 2 plus an elective topic. The Graduate Diploma comprises the content of the Graduate Certificate plus the core topics Leadership and Change Management in Clinical Education, Advanced Curriculum Design/Assessment and electives.
The Masters comprises the topics taken in the Graduate Diploma plus two additional core topics: Research Design and Evaluation and Clinical Education Thesis plus electives.

Applicants for all courses normally must hold an approved undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a related field from an approved tertiary institution, or appropriate qualifications. However, the Faculty Board may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
