Overview
Our postgraduate programs in Clinical Rehabilitation provide opportunities for health professionals from any field to enhance their knowledge, skills and attitudes in clinical rehabilitation. Masters can be undertaken by coursework or research.
Graduates are suitable for careers in the government, private and community health sectors.

Entry requirements
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related field such as medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or other allied health area.
Applicants for the Graduate Diploma or Masters also must have at least two years' relevant postgraduate experience.
In addition to the above:
- all applicants of the of Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority as a Physiotherapist, and maintain this registration for the duration of the course.
- all applicants of the Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Occupational Therapy) must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority as an Occupational Therapist, and maintain this registration for the duration of the course.
The Faculty Board may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma (or other qualifications deemed equivalent) receive credit for related topics when progressing to the Graduate Diploma or Masters.
Additional requirements:
Students undertaking the Masters program are required to provide a National Police Certificate before commencing their clinical placement in South Australia or interstate. Students must also comply with the Immunisations and Blood Borne Viruses Policy before commencing placement.
