Overview

This is a professionally-oriented course which is intended to provide graduates with the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge and skills in specialised areas.

It aims to provide students with:

  • an in-depth knowledge in a specialised area
  • the ability to access and evaluate current research pertinent to the area of specialisation and to reflect critically on their own learning and different approaches to practice
  • the knowledge and skills which can be applied to their area of practice
  • an understanding of the multidisciplinary approach within the area of specialty.

The specialty stream currently available to students is in the area of School Age Language (5-12 years). Other specialty streams will be developed.
