Overview

The Graduate Diploma in Intensive Care Paramedic Studies is a part time program available to suitably qualified applicants. 

The course will lead towards employment as an intensive care paramedic within the SA Ambulance Service or with services interstate, subject to successfully gaining an internship position with the SA Ambulance Service.

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold either a Bachelor of Paramedic Science or an equivalent degree, or possess a formal vocational ambulance qualification which permits authority to practice at a paramedical level.

The Faculty Board may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness of candidature.
