The Master of Arts (Women’s Studies) reflects the wide influence of gender issues on everything from political, cultural and social institutions to personal identity and relationships. By including social, cultural and political perspectives, the course helps you apply interdisciplinary approaches to feminist questions.

Entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold an approved Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Or, applicants must have completed the Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development, or an approved equivalent.

Advanced level entry: Applicants must have completed an honours degree in Women's/Gender Studies or the Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development or equivalent.
