Overview

The Master of Midwifery provides students with the opportunity to advance the discipline of midwifery, promote excellence in midwifery practice, participate in the delivery of midwifery care and plan, implement and disseminate midwifery research. Masters is undertaken by coursework with either a thesis or a project.

Graduates are suitable for a wide range of careers on midwifery, such as working in clinical practice in hospitals or in community, research, education or management roles.

The courses do not lead to a registration as a Registered Midwife.
