The Master of Teaching (Junior Primary/Primary) builds on prior learning and develops advanced professional knowledge, practice and relationship skills relevant to teaching.
This course is offered to graduates who wish to teach at the primary/junior primary school level.
It includes education studies, curriculum studies and teaching practicum.

A research strand is available in the 2nd year to students with outstanding academic records.

Applicants must hold an approved degree of equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Students must obtain a Police Check before they can apply for school experience and teaching practicum placements.The Master of Teaching is a pre-service teaching degree and admission normally will not be granted to applicants who already hold a teaching qualification.
