Applicants for the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma must:
- hold a nursing or midwifery degree or equivalent qualification, and
- be registered general nurses, and
- hold a current practising certificate.
Some specialisations also require a minimum amount of post-registration experience. Information is available from stream details listed above.
Applicants for the Master of Nursing must meet the above requirements and have a minimum of two years’ post-registration experience.
Candidates for the Clinical and Research and coursework and Research pathways of the Master of Nursing must also provide with their application a brief statement detailing a proposed research area for the research project component.
However, the Faculty Board may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
