| Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. However, the Faculty Board may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for admission. Applicants for the masters program must normally either: hold an approved honours degree of at least second class standard in a relevant social science; or hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and the Graduate Diploma in Sociology; or have completed an equivalent course of studies approved by the Faculty Board. | Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
