The Bachelor of Accounting is a specialist degree designed to prepare professionals and graduates to take advantage of the expanding range of career opportunities in accounting, finance and financial management.

The degree's strength lies in its blend of practice and theory, and the emphasis placed on combining specific accounting skills with a broader understanding of economics and the fundamentals of business practice.

Professional recognition

The Bachelor of Accounting meets the requirements for tertiary studies entrance of CPA Australia and The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA). 

Completion of the degree enables students to undertake the Professional Schedule of CPA Australia or the Professional Year of the ICAA.
