Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) - English language requirements

International students must satisfy our English language proficiency requirements for admission. For applicants whose first language is not English they will need to have either:

• achieved the required IELTS or TOEFL as denoted below
• successfully completed a tertiary degree program taught in the English language in a country where English is the official language or the main language spoken
• successfully completed a pre-course English program from an approved ELICOS Provider.

Other evidence of English language proficiency may be accepted.

IELTS: 6.0 (6.0 in speaking and writing)

Or equivalent TOEFL requirement:

• TOEFL (paper): 550 (TWE 4.5)
• TOEFL (computer): 230 (essay rating 4.5)
• TOEFL (internet): 90 (20 in all bands).
