The Bachelor of Engineering Science focuses on electronics, computer systems and robotics but also has strong elements of software and biomedical engineering.
It equips graduates with the knowledge to become engineering technologists.
With no formal prerequisities, students performing well in this award are able to transfer to the 4 year Bachelor of Engineering awards.

This course has significant commonality with the other Bachelor of Engineering awards. Consequently, students who are performing well and wish to transfer to another Bachelor of Engineering award can do so with minimal loss of time.
We have an international reputation for our teaching, student support programs/services and research. We are committed to assisting students to succeed in their studies and move into their chosen career. Flinders graduates have a higher full time employment rate than the South Australian average. This is a new course. It is expected that it will meet the requirements for accreditation by Engineers Australia at the Technical level.

What can I do with my Bachelor of Engineering Science degree?
Flinders also offers all students the opportunity to major in a language in conjunction with any undergraduate course. The Diploma in Language is designed to provide students with competence in a chosen language that adds greater portability to their qualifications. You will complete a total of one extra year of study and graduate with both your chosen degree and the Diploma in Language. You can apply for this at time of enrolment.
