You will:
- build on knowledge and skills gained from previous tertiary qualifications and develop these into a nursing practice context while being introduced to clinical practice in various health care settings. Studies include nursing and research skills, the scientific basis of nursing and ethics and law applied to nursing
- explore more complex issues in nursing such as health sociology, nursing in a socio-political context, Indigenous health issues and mental illness, tobacco and other drugs.
Our aim is to prepare nurses who are reflective about practice and have well-developed clinical reasoning skills.
