Course overview
The Bachelor of Special Education provides appropriate additional specialist training for teachers at all levels of the school system.
It allows teachers to prepare for work in special schools and special classes, to prepare for work as resource or support teachers in regular schools, or simply to extend their range of skills as regular classroom teachers able to cater for a wide ability range of students, including those with gifts and talents.
The content of the program is appropriate for teachers at all levels from preschools through to TAFE.

Entry requirements
The normal entry requirement is a 3 year Diploma of Teaching or a Bachelor of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma in Education award or the equivalent.
