Why study Philosophy?
Philosophy deals with some of the big questions about the world, ourselves and our society. Philosophy topics encourage thought and discussion by presenting a range of possible answers to important questions and a thorough background in philosophical issues and methods.
Philosophical views have important political and moral implications, and philosophically-trained people are increasingly playing important roles in debates on medical ethics, the environment, women’s issues, industrial relations, business ethics, and cognitive science.
Some aspects of philosophy are relevant to a great many other areas of study, from history, politics and economics to computer studies or screen studies.
What will I study?
