• Your award will be scheduled for conferral at the next available Conferral in Absentia or Graduation Ceremony. For conferral dates and application submission due dates please visit Conferral Information in Absentia .

    Note: Your application form will be sent automatically to the Graduation Office.

    If you wish instead to  attend a Graduation ceremony , please visit the Graduation Webpage .

    Do not complete this form if you wish to attend a future Graduation ceremony. If you are conferred in Absentia, you cannot attend a Graduation ceremony in the future for the same degree or award.

    Your name will be printed on your certificate exactly as it appears in the University's Student Information System. If you wish to change your name you must do so via Enrolment Services by submitting an Ask Flinders request. This must be done at least four weeks prior to the conferral date . Name changes made after this date will incur a fee of A$50 if the parchment needs to be reissued.


    All correspondence will be sent to your mailing address as recorded in the Student Information System. You must keep all contact information up to date or you may not receive vital information regarding your conferral or post-graduation information.



    • If you elect to collect your parchment from the Flinders Connect in the Student Hub (Level 0 of the Central Library building at the Bedford Park campus). It will be available for collection the day after the conferral date. You will need to produce photo ID in order to collect your parchment.
    • If you elect to have your parchment posted to you,  you will need to submit a $15 payment for postage or $A45 for overseas addresses. You may pay at the Cashiers Office or forward a cheque or money order made payable to Flinders University. Please ensure that Enrolment Services has your current mailing address. You can also pay by using the iPay facility.
    • If you elect to authorise an agent to collect your parchment , your agent will need to produce Photo ID in order to collect your parchment. Please type the name of your nominated agent in the field below.
