The SLC offers free seminars to help students advance their study skills. These cover topics like research, referencing, and writing skills. They are held at 12pm, Monday to Thursday, in room 1.64, on the entrance level of the Central Library (next to the Noel Stockdale Room). See the full schedule for Semester 1, 2013 below.
Some lunchtime seminars are also arranged into themed series, such as the Essay Writing, Grammar Booster, Maths Skills Booster and Research Skills series. Students who attend all seminars will receive a personalised certificate.
Seminars for research students are held on Thursday and are aimed at developing their higher level academic skills.
