Venue: Student Learning Centre

Room 1.64, Central Library

The SLC offers free seminars to help students advance their study skills. These cover topics like research, referencing, and writing skills. They are held at 12pm, Monday to Thursday, in room 1.64, on the entrance level of the Central Library (next to the Noel Stockdale Room). Enrolments are not needed; just turn up! See the full schedule for Semester 1, 2012 below.

Some Lunchtime Seminars are also arranged into themed series, such as the Essay Writing Series and the Grammar Booster series.  These have one class per week for five weeks, and students who attend all five receive a personalised certificate.  These series are repeated throughout the year.
