On each search page are26 alphabeticlinks,Searchlink andOrganisational Structurelink.
A B C D (26 alphabetic links) will each return a full list of staff / facilities / enquiry numbers etc that begin with the alpha character selected.
From the selection results, additional information including external phone details, location and email where available, will be obtained by selecting links provided on Name Phone Role details (see below)
Search link allows a free text search on staff name, facility, telephone, department or role.
Surname/Facility field can be used to search for surnames or facilities eg fax, lost property, copyright officer.
The search will find all entries beginning with the letters entered eg don will return Donaldson, Donhardt, Donnelly, but not Langdon
Surname (sounds like) field can be used if unsure of the spelling of a surname or facility. You must enter all syllables of a name for a search to find an appropriate match.
First Name field - enter either official or preferred name and the search will return preferred name where applicable
Department field will return records containing the word entered eg chemistry will return School of Chemistry, Physics and Earth Sciences and also Medical Biochemistry.
Role field will return records containing the word entered eg manager will return Manager, Office Manager, Manager Technical Services etc - please note that not all staff have Roles entered so therefore a complete list may not be returned.
Note: if searching on more than one field simultaneously, only records that match all fields entered will be returned.

Each Department/Unit selected displays:
a further break-down of units within the selected area
quick reference guides in blue, on the right of screen, where available
phone number, name and role of each staff member where available
Name Phone Role links will provide all information available for this listing including external phone details, location and email
Telephone (Internal) - extension number can be used by all staff on Flinders University campus
(from FMC) - only for staff dialling from Flinders Medical Centre and only if different from (Internal) number
(external) - number to be dialled from off campus
(overseas) - international number
Department - two department levels are printed - the organisational structure will be seen on the left of screen
Role - if available this will show the staff member's position or role in the department
Building and Room details will display if available
Email - this link will launch a new email message with an email address entered ready for sending
Website - this link will launch a staff member's website on the directory of Research and Specialist Expertise
Show Organisational Structure - when a staff member is involved in more than one unit, this link will display/change the structure on left of screen applicable to that department
