Two Day Professional Development Workshop
This is a 2 day intensive lab topic that covers all forensic applications of anthropology. Going beyond the traditional concepts of identification of skeletal remains, this course will explore the forensic applications of human variation to: identification from CCTV images, age estimation from images, facial reconstruction and facial superimposition. Participants will learn how to apply the theoretical methods of human osteology to forensic casework. This workshop will provide you with a hands-on approach to forensic anthropology.
Module 1: Identification from CCTV images – theory, methods and cases
Module 2: Sexual offences in images, age estimation from photographs
Module 3: Facial reconstruction
Module 4: Forensic morphology

A refund for field school/intensive payments will only be granted if the cancellation of attendance is received via email to 14 days prior to the field school. There will be no refunds after this date unless accompanied by a medical certificate.
