Humans through Time and Space

Archaeology at Flinders maintains a world class research profile with innovative projects across Australia, Asia, Europe, South America, South Africa and the Near East. Whilst our research programs are diverse, our team approach focusses on four key thematic areas: 1) Colonialism, Capitalism and Cosmopolitanism; 2) Symbolic Communication; 3) Environment and Society; and 4) Coastal and Maritime Adaptations. Staff also collaborate with other premier national and international researchers and work closely with our Research Higher Degree students. Such approaches ensure high quality and high impact publications and outputs that serve to improve our understandings of humans through time and space.
