Welcome to the School of Education. The School’s International Programs Committee hosts a range of social-cultural activities each year so students, staff, their families and visitors can meet in a relaxed and informal environment. These activities include:
- Weekly morning teas (in seminar time)
- Shared meals (picnics and BBQs)
- Support via Flinders Multifaith Chaplaincy
- Promoting alumni connections
The Thursday Postgraduate Seminars are designed for both international and local postgraduate students. The seminars are presented by staff and visiting scholars in their areas of research, as well as on information about learning and study that are useful to students. It is also an opportunity for students to present their work-in-progress. Furthermore, some school visits are organised for international students who do not have a chance to visit local schools through their normal program of study.
Seminar Program (updated weekly):
There will be no seminar this week. However, there will be a training session on Wed 5 November 2008 as detailed below. This workshop will nicely end our series of programs for this semester.
