Professional Experience Lecture
Semester 1 - See EDUC1120 for days/times.

- All Year 1 pre-service teachers must attend the Compulsory 2 Hour Induction Lecture.
- Non attendance could result in Withdrawal from the placement and a FAIL grade.
- Certificates will be emailed and must be presented to the school on the first day of placement.
Professional Experience Placement
Middle School/Secondary
A total of 15 days, preferably 5 days in 2012 and 10 days in 2013.
Either single days or 5 day blocks to be negotiated between the school and pre-service teacher.Primary
12 to 16 Nov, 2012 PLUS 25 Feb to 1 March AND 23 to 27 Sept, 2013.
Please Note:
Professional Experience Year 1 and Year 2 are completed in the same school.
If the negotiated days are not adhered to, this could result in a Fail grade.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 1 (Third Year Undergraduate and First Year Master of Teaching)

Application process will be advised in the first lecture, Semester 1, 2012.Copies of current Criminal History Check letter (lasts for 3 years) and Responding to Abuse and Neglect certificate must be attached to the application (unless you have registered for RAN training).

The Full Day lecture is compulsory for pre-service teachers who have not completed Responding to
Abuse and Neglect training.

Semester 2 (School Term 3): 16 July to 10 August - 4 week block (Plus 5 Days for Master of Teaching).

Professional Experience Placement
- Semester 1 (School Term 1): 10 Days including School Planning Days if possible.
- Semester 1 (School Term 2): 23 April to 1 June - 6 week block.
