Collaborative Research Programs

Educational Futures, with the support of Flinders University, is committed to developing collaborative research activities between the Centre's researchers, its research groups and industry.

Collaborative research programs range in size and complexity. A current major project for one Educational Futures member is a collaboration with Australia's Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) to help the army fine tune the way it seeks and gets feedback about its learning culture. Professional Development Programs

Educational Futures offers a range of Professional Development programs which are designed to meet the needs of practitioners, policy makers and organisations with educational concerns which arise in response to changing trends and emerging issues that take place. Training can range from a half day to an extended course. Customised programs - where the content, style and pace of learning is based on what is most appropriate for the delegates - are also available. All delegates receive a certificate of attendance.

Each program:

  • encourages active engagement through discussion, the sharing of experiences and realistic case studies;
  • encourages participants to take ownership of their own learning through reflective exercises;
  • is supported by a range of materials and individual feedback.

Advice & Consultancy

Through our advice and consultancy services, Centre staff are able to provide support and advice on a broad range of issues.

Educational Futures staff work with a wide range of organisations in both the commercial and not-for profit sectors providing consultancy and support tailored to their needs and many of our members have built international track records of successful consultancy.

Contract Research Services

Contract research services can be tailored to suit specific projects and address specific issues facing organisations and are an excellent way for organisations to access our diverse range of research expertise.
